
1. Pregnancy and Participation
Clients who have attended Kōra classes prior to pregnancy are welcome to continue training during each trimester. Once you reach 15 weeks, you’ll need to complete a complimentary Pregnancy Induction session with one of our senior instructors before returning to group reformer classes and share medical clearance. This ensures we can modify exercises safely for you and your baby. To book, please email hello@korapilates.com.au to organise.
2. Introductory Offers
Our introductory offers are available once per person and are valid from the date of your first class.They are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be paused or extended (except in cases of medical exemption with documentation).
3. Class Minimums and Scheduling
A minimum of two people is required for a class to proceed. You’ll be contacted via SMS or email if a class is cancelled, and your credit will be returned to your account.
4. Cancellations and Late Policy
Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 7 hours before your class begins. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a forfeited session. For members on weekly direct debit plans, a $10 late cancel fee or $15 no-show fee may apply.If illness or injury prevents attendance, please provide a medical certificate to request a credit or fee waiver.
5. Payment and Booking
All classes must be paid for in advance. To book, you’ll need either class credits or an active membership in your account. Payment can be made via our website or our branded app.
6. Memberships and Direct Debits
Membership payments are processed weekly. There is no minimum commitment however we do need 2 weeks notice to cancel your membership, memberships continue until you notify us via email at hello@korapilates.com.au. Please ensure adequate funds are available to avoid dishonour fees. Memberships are valid only at Kōra Pilates Coburg and are non-transferable and non-refundable.
7. Arrival Time and Safety
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early for class.If you’re more than 5 minutes late, you won’t be able to join for safety reasons.Warm-ups are essential to prevent injury, and instructors reserve the right to restrict participation based on safety concerns or medical history.
8. Waitlists
If a class is full, join the waitlist. You’ll be notified via SMS or email if a spot opens up.Please confirm or decline promptly so people on the waitlist have an opportunity to join.
9. Expiry and Validity
5-class packs: 6 months
10 & 20-class packs: 12 months
50-class packs: 15 months
Private sessions: 12 months
Monthly passes: 30 days from first use

10. Transfers and Sharing
Passes and memberships are for individual use only and cannot be shared or transferred. Each participant must hold their own account and waiver.
11. Refunds
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, unused sessions, or expired passes unless required by Australian Consumer Law. Credits or extensions may be provided in cases of illness, injury, or exceptional circumstances.
12. Age Policy
Participants must be 16 years or older.Minors under 16 may participate only under special programs and with a guardian present. Children cannot wait in the studio during classes.
13. Lost Property
Kōra Pilates is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please keep personal belongings with you. Unclaimed items will be donated or disposed of after 30 days.
14. Communicable Illness & Hygiene
If you’re unwell or have a contagious illness, please refrain from attending.Wipe down all equipment after use and bring a towel and clean socks to each session. Kōra follows current Victorian Government health guidelines at all times.
